Have your say on the Council Plan

We want your views on a new ambitious four-year plan which aims to ensure Basingstoke and Deane remains a great place to live and work. The draft Council Plan for 2020 to 2024 sets the key priorities for the council. The consultation will run until Wednesday 1 January. Any feedback will be considered before the final decisions are made in February 2020.

Budget consultation

Every year the council sets its budget and we'd like your views on our proposals for next year.  A council tax increase of about £5, or 10p per week, is likely to make it the lowest of the districts in Hampshire and most of the rest of the country, again. You can have your say online until Wednesday 1 January, after which final decisions about the budget will be made at a Council meeting in February 2020.

Developing our priorities for housing

Have your say on the council’s Housing and Homelessness Strategy 2020 to 2024.

The draft strategy sets out the council’s priorities and actions to meet affordable housing needs in the borough. It also includes a plan to prevent homelessness, which is required by law.

Give your views before Friday 17 January 2020.
