Operation Resilience Update December 2015

As part of the programme of works being undertaken by Operation Resilience Hampshire County Highways will shortly be undertaking drainage works in The Street, Bramley. This will be from Cufaude Lane west to Lantern Court and from Cufaude Lane east to Middle Farm. The works are programmed to start 6 January 2016 and are expected to last for 3 weeks. In order to undertake the works safely the majority of the works will be carried out with the use of traffic lights between 9:00 & 16:30hrs. However, when working between Cufaude Lane & Lantern Court the road will need to be closed to through traffic, the date of this closure is dependant upon progress however will be advertised on site. A fully signed diversion will be in operation during the closure & access to properties will be maintained. 

The diversion route will be Silchester Road, Boars Bridge, Bramley Road, A340 Aldermaston Road, A339 Ringway North, A33 (north), Bramley Road & Sherfield Road (& vice versa). 

Information signs advising road users of the works will be erected before the start of works. A letter will be sent to local residents and an email will be sent to Bramley Parish Council to advise them accordingly.
